Mary Carol Garrity established Nell Hill's in 1990 in an old bank building in downtown Atchison, Kansas, naming the store after her maternal grandmother. The eclectic shop houses European antiques, home furnishings, and offers giftware and other accessories all at a great value. Part of the mystique of Nell Hill's is that the store is constantly changing, partly to keep customers interested and coming back.
